Fly Fishing 101: Introduction to Fly Fishing

Ages: 13+ Minors must be accompanied by an adult, but the adult does not have to pay or participate.

There's no time to get bored in this challenging yet rewarding type of fishing. In this class you will get all of the information you need to start Fly Fishing. Participants will learn: different methods and techniques, the basic gear needed to get started, how to cast with a fly rod, good places to go in the area, and the rules and regulations for NC. All gear will be provided.

Classes will be held at the Outdoor Recreation Facility at 70 Gashes Creek Rd. Asheville NC, 28805. Please dress for the weather as this program is a combination of classroom and outdoor practice. This class takes place on land so no fishing license is needed.
