Naturalist Hikes: Azalea Park

Calling all Nature Nerds. This hike is designed for you because we are hiking for one purpose, learning about the natural world of the Southern Appalachians. Come on a short slow hike led by an experienced Naturalist to learn how to identify plants, animal tracks, bird songs, and any other phenomenon we may come across. We will also learn from field guides, apps, and each other. Come prepared for the weather and for hiking short distances on uneven terrain.

We will meet at the Outdoor Recreation Facility at 70 Gashes Creek Rd. Asheville, NC 28805 Dress for the weather. Registration is required.
