Naturalist Hikes: Asheville Botanical Gardens

Calling all Nature Nerds. This hike is designed for you because we are hiking for one purpose, learning about the natural world of the Southern Appalachians. Enjoy a short, slow paced hike led by an experienced Naturalist to learn how to identify plants, animal tracks, bird songs, and any other phenomenon we may come across. We will also learn from field guides, apps, and each other.

Ages 13+
Registration required

*Come prepared for the weather and for hiking short distances on uneven terrain.

*Pre-registration is required.

*Classes that do not meet minimum registration numbers are subject to cancellation.

We will meet in the parking lot of the Asheville Botanical Gardens at 151 WT Weaver Blvd Asheville, NC 28804. Dress for the weather. Registration is required.
