Truck City is an exciting and family-friendly program designed to give participants, especially children, an up-close and hands-on experience with a wide array of impressive vehicles. This interactive event brings together an assortment of trucks, construction equipment, emergency response vehicles, and more, creating a dynamic and educational atmosphere! The event is free and takes place from 1p - 4p with a designated quiet hour from 1p - 2p for those who are sensitive to sound.

Do you want your artwork to be seen and displayed for the community to view? Here's the perfect opportunity to do just that. Submit a painting, sculpture, or drawing and tell the story of what Black History Month means to you. The opening reception will be Wednesday, February 12 from 6:30pm-8:30pm, we hope all artists will be available to talk about their art piece.

All art pieces will be displayed through February 28 at the Dr. Wesley Grant Sr. Southside Cetner near the River Arts District of Asheville.
Art submissions should be dropped off at the Dr. Wesley Grant Sr. Southside Center (285 Livingston St, Asheville NC, 28801) between Wednesday, February 5 and Tuesday, February 11 10-6pm.

Shiloh Community Association welcomes you to the 2025 Black History Celebration. This event will honor the deep roots of African Americans in the Shiloh Community by honoring those who lead the way.
